The infinite possibilities of the white canvas are the starting point for the new architecture, furnishing, merchandising and visual identity project by MYT+GLVDK for KANVAA, a Mexican stationery firm and supplier of art materials to be launched in summer 2021.

For KANVAA, architects Andrés Mier y Terán and Regina Galvanduque propose a comprehensive concept based on a series of retrofuturist inspirations to project an aesthetic of transparencies, the luminosity of white, a color palette of vibrant hues and an 8-bit style, characterized by the pixelated appearance of the images.

For MYT+GLVDK, reconciling the analogue and digital worlds is the basis for developing an artsy-minimal code, one that is transferred to the futuristic environment of the point of sale, the appearance of the packaging and the visual elements used in its communication, branding and web development.
