The Brit is a new hospitality concept in the eclectic and cosmopolitan Juárez neighborhood in Mexico City.
Located at Calle Londres 208, and contextualized by the area’s notable Victorian-style buildings, The Brit offers a vibrant and fresh experience that fuses British pop culture elements and emblematic features of the classic Londoner elegance.
The studio conceptualized a dynamic and emotional design as the common thread of the spaces. Wood and marble textures, lacquered finishes, and geometric shapes –combined with touches of nostalgia and modernity– evoke Scottish fabric patterns.
From the entrance and throughout different areas, a bright red tone recalls the iconic English telephone booths; retro-line furniture and spherical lamps, reminiscent of London’s street lights, lend a uniquely English ambiance.
The Brit contemplates a total of 42 studios with a pleasant atmosphere and custom-made functional furniture that exalts an urban style. A gray color palette, inspired by woolen garments, artisan leather goods with decorative stitching, and the warmth of the textures of classic cabinetry, harmonizes with white and red details.
Amenities include a roof terrace with a fitness area, swimming pool and bar, as well as a game and event room, where different color nuances transmit the essence of British punk.
