Graduated from Columbia University with a master’s degree in Advanced Architectural Design, a diploma in Furniture Design from Danmarks Designskole (Copenhagen, 2000), and degrees in Architecture from the Autonomous University of Mexico (Mexico City, 2007) and Interior Architecture from ESAG Penninghen (Paris, 2001), where he received the "Meilleur Excellent" prize, awarded to the best student, the Penninghen prize for his thesis ("Idea Incubator”) and, 10 years later, the "Prix Met Penninghen" award for his career from 2001 to 2011.
At the end of his studies, he completed an internship in Tokyo at Nihon Sekkei, the largest architectural studio in Asia, and worked with the renowned designer Philippe Starck on hospitality projects such as the Clift Hotel in San Francisco and the Faena Hotel and Residences.
In 2003, in partnership with his brothers, he founded Grupo MYT. There, he headed MYT Diseño, the group’s architecture and design division, which was renowned for creating, developing, and operating gastronomic concepts in Mexico and the United States. In 2019, he partnered with architect Regina Galvanduque to create MYT+GLVDK.
His experience living in New York for 10 years, where he opened nine successful restaurants, as well as working and studying in Paris, Copenhagen, Tokyo, and Mexico City, have directly influenced the ideas behind his work, which includes designing over 50 restaurants, each of them with innovative, unique concepts, as well as hotels, furniture, and residential and cultural projects.

Architect Regina Galvanduque (Mexico City, 1984), Director of Experiences at MYT+GLVDK, specializes in the hospitality industry, conceiving creative and genuine concepts that combine Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture, Branding, Art, and Styling.

Graduated from Parsons School of Design with a master’s degree in Architecture (New York, 2005) and a Design Award in Architectural Design (2009). She also studied Product Design at Parsons and Industrial Design at Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City.
After completing her studies, she worked for two years at TEN Arquitectos (Enrique Norten’s Architecture studio) in New York, heading the Marketing and Image Department, with a focus on architecture. Without leaving Manhattan, in 2010, she created and developed Antojería Popular an innovative concept that was well received in the city with one of the most competitive culinary scenes in the world. A year later she founded GLVDK. In 2016, she returned to Mexico, where she currently resides.
Her 360º work methodology, which integrates Architecture, Design and Branding, is exemplified in outstanding projects with great media impact such as Ryo Kan, the first traditional Japanese hotel in Latin America, and Niddo Café, in the heart of the eclectic and cosmopolitan Juárez neighborhood in the Mexican capital.
